About Us

Different Class productions was created by award winning playwright Louise Roche and hit songwriter Jayne Taylor.

Different Class Productions creates high quality musicals especially for schools. Our musicals are a unique blend of humour, pathos and really great songs.

Available now is “Grandma’s Christmas”, a funny, touching nativity with seven songs, including beautiful ballads, quirky fun songs, and catchy full cast numbers.

Jayne Taylor
Jayne grew up performing in musicals and pantomimes and went on at sixteen to write and perform her own songs.

Jayne has written songs for a wide variety of artists and has achieved top ten hits in twelve countries. In 2008 Jayne collaborated with Louise Roche to write the musical "Finding Daddy".

Louise has written many plays including ‘Girls Night’, ‘Checkout Girls’, ‘Finding Daddy’ and ‘Big Pants and Botox’.
In 2003 she became a director of UK theatre company ‘Goodnights Entertainment ltd’. To date Goodnights Entertainment has completed eight tours on the medium and No 1 Circuits. ‘Girls Night’ has been running in the USA since 2007, and opening off Broadway in June 2009.
Louise has also written for ITV and BBC TV and has created tailor-made plays for schools with Entertainment MK.
Louise and Mark have three daughters.
Mark Randle
Mark Randle
Mark studied Drama at the University of Exeter and spent 12 years as a professional actor/Director. His TV credits include EastEnders, Emmerdale and cracker. His Theatre work includes Theatre-in-Education with the M6 Theatre Company and Rep seasons at the New Victoria Theatre.
Mark directed all plays for Goodnights Entertainment (including Girls Night in the UK and USA) and Entertainment MK CIC, original school productions of ‘Same Difference’, ‘Two Little Boys’, ‘Red Letter Day’, and ‘The Magic Gas Mask’.
Mark has also spent 10 years as a Primary School teacher with the last 3 years as Head of Literacy at a beacon school in Milton Keynes.

David Shoukry
David studied Music at Oxford University and has since worked as a music educator, award-winning recording engineer and producer and composer for TV.
David arranged, recorded and produced the songs on the Grandma’s Christmas CD.
